What we need
  • 1-2 page press release that can be distributed to news outlets

Press release for Film festival.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a Mission statement/ history of organization, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have Program itinerary archives, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,348 , allowing us to use the funds for other forms of community outreach.

It will help my organization reach a wider audience and broaden our platform.

  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss initiative, partnership, or event that Organization wishes to publicizes
  • Volunteer Manager shares existing marketing materials, mission statement, and program descriptions for Professional to incorporate into press release

Milestone 1: Press Release Writing
  • Professional writes draft of press release and shares with Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager gives feedback, which Professional incorporates
  • Professional delivers final version of press release
  • (Optional) Volunteer Manager incorporates Press Release into Press Kit

Our mission

Our mission, as a community based non-profit 501c3 arts and cultural organization, is to nurture and facilitate the empowerment of our community through Afro-centric artistic and cultural expression, mediums, education, and programming.

The pixel
