Team Off-Site or Retreat Planning
Project details
What we need
- A detailed agenda for the team event, including a rundown of content and activities
- A project plan that itemizes the key steps and timelines for preparation and logistical considerations, such as travel and accommodations, catering needs, guest speakers, session content development, and materials
- A communication plan to attendees including themes, goals, logistics and any preparation participants should consider before the event
- A draft budget showing any known costs associated with the team event
What we have in place
- We currently have a date and time, and 14 members already signed up, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have several planning meetings with CCC members, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $8,686 , allowing us to have clearer understanding and messaging about our mission.
Help CCC members to deepen our relationships with one another, and to identify tangible projects/goals for the next 2-3 yrs.
Project plan
Our mission
The Charlottesville Clergy Collective is a group of clergy and interested lay persons who gather regularly to discuss and address the challenge of race relations in the Charlottesville and Albemarle region of Virginia. Our mission is to establish, develop, and promote racial unity within the faith leadership of the Charlottesville-Albemarle Region through fellowship, collaborative partnership, relationship-building and public witness.
What we do
We fulfill our mission by:
* Meeting regularly to foster mutual trust and open communication.
* Engaging in group events to highlight issues of racial and social justice in our community.
* Partnering with other community leaders to promote mutual cooperation between law enforcement, city government, and the faith leadership of this region.
* Working together to support marginalized and historically under-served populations in our community.
Testimonials
John Rolander was amazing to work with in developing and facilitating our annual retreat via Zoom! (It was originally scheduled for January 2021, but we had to reschedule it for 2022. John met with our leadership team and with several of our members in order to learn more about our organization, it's culture, it's needs, etc. He worked closely with our leadership team and kept lines of communication open. Our Zoom retreat not only accomplished our desired outcomes, but also deepened the connection of our members.
