What we have in place
- We currently have a diabetes education program, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have Program and Development staff, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $8,392 , allowing us to provide free education, medicine, and resources to underserved communities.
Our program is in dire need for individuals living with or at risk for diabetes. Mismanaged diabetes can lead to further health complications or the inability to fight COVID. We are looking to review our current program to ensure we are delivering it to fulfill our mission. Program evaluation and collection is important to make sure we have the right details to report to funders and supporters.

he Diabetes Association of Atlanta, Inc. is one of the few nonprofit agencies in Atlanta that addresses the needs of people affected with diabetes through screening, quality comprehensive self-management education courses and medical assistance. The dedicated service of our effective staff has assisted these people in improving the quality of their lives.
