StreetLight needs an assessment of our website and help with redesigning it.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a website, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have promotional materials, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to provide greater assistance to people in need of financial help to stop rent evictions/utility cut-offs, buy supplies for our food pantry, low-barrier shelter and for our supported housing program.

Currently, the design of the website does not match newly designed promotional materials. Also, content needs to be professionally updated.

  • Both parties review our pro-tips for Organizations and Volunteers to ensure the project is set up for success

Milestone 1: Initial Review & Feedback
  • Professional reviews current website pages, site map, any past statistical research into site performance and available traffic data
  • Professional analyzes current site layout, visuals and content, and delivers a draft document detailing the strategies, objectives and recommended tactics for proposed changes to the website
  • Volunteer Manager reviews draft and provides feedback to the Professional

Milestone 2: Final Website Audit
  • Professional delivers final strategy to the Organization after incorporating feedback, and provides recommendations for future overhaul or redesign efforts, based on staff capacity and budget

Our mission

StreetLight Community Outreach Ministries is a nonprofit organization that was established in 2004 to alleviate suffering among the poor and homeless in Prince William County and the surrounding counties of Northern Virginia. We believe that everyone has intrinsic value and we are committed to helping each individual who comes through our door to rise above their present challenges to achieve independence and personal success. Staff and volunteer mentors are committed to building relationship with clients which we believe is key to effecting positive change in people's lives.
