Our mission

To support young women in local capacity building and skills development for technology and entrepreneurship in Uganda, offering a collaborative environment for training, mentorship, and knowledge sharing in order to drive social and economic development in the region.

What we do

We provide young women with tools, resources and opportunities that allow them to start their
own businesses, find work opportunities especially in the technological space and live fulfilled lives. We do this through technical and vocational skills development programs, provision of soft skills training, access to technology for innovation and access to digital devices for learning purposes.

We work with partners right from community/parish level to national level in the delivery of our programs. Some of our partners include KCCA, LCs, Market and religious leaders as well as schools across Uganda.

Impact Report Graphic Design Project

This is a worthy organization that is providing software training to women and young children in Uganda. The project I worked on went smoothly, and Leticia Nakitende, my WITU contact was very organized and provided everything I needed to finish quickly and efficiently. It was a very good experience and together we developed a superior report that they are excited about, and one that I can use to show for future work. Africa is full of emerging economic opportunities and I feel really good about having been able to help in this small way to make way for women in Uganda to take advantage of what will be coming very soon for them.
