Project details

What we need
  • Final designs for a predetermined type of promotional apparel (e.g., t-shirts, hats, shorts, other swag) or merchandise (mugs, pens, tote bags, etc.) provided in the high-resolution format of the Organization's choice
  • Note: Printing and vendor sourcing is not included
Additional details

We would like a creative design that can be printed on T-shirts for our staff and volunteers to wear while working in our drop-in center, or attending casual events out in the community.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a style guide, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an outline of what we are trying to achieve, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to support more youth with basic-needs like food and hygiene supplies, as well as financial assistance to pay for bills and school expenses.

This project will allow us to print T-shirts for staff and volunteers to wear while working in our drop-in center or other projects. We would like to offer something they can wear that will bring feelings of pride of being a part of our team, while also displaying to the community a bit of what we're all about: love, kindness, compassion, and support to young people in need.

Our mission

Youth On Their Own (YOTO) supports the high school graduation and continued success of youth experiencing homelessness.

What we do

YOTO serves homeless Pima County (Arizona) youth in grades 6-12 by providing financial assistance (a monthly stipend and emergency bill payment assistance), basic human needs (free food, hygiene products, clothing, school supplies and more), and one-on-one guidance.

The graduation rate among YOTO students is currently 82% which is 4% higher than the AZ state average of 78%.

Testimonials

Elliot was awesome to work with! He communicated every step of the project, guiding us through the design process. He checked in frequently, and brought smiles and excitement to each of our meetings. Such a pleasure to work with someone who manifests so much joy through the work they do. He created a beautiful graphic for our merchandising project, and even acted as our liaison with a local printshop to make sure our final project came out prefect. Thank you, Elliot!

Merchandising Project

I had an absolutely amazing experience working on this project for Youth On Their Own. Matt was readily available to provide direction and answer any questions I had about the project, as well as the Catchafire volunteer process. Matt and his team provided polite, insightful, and constructive feedback during our meetings, and I am grateful for the amount of trust and flexibility I was given. I am so glad to have been a part of their merchandising project, and for the opportunity to contribute to their amazing mission!
