Project details

What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details

We are looking to have someone help us use digital storytelling to better market our organization. We are hoping to have someone who is able to work with former clients to create testimonials to the effectiveness of our work, and interviews from staff members or mentors. We are open to different types of media as we know that video may not be the best option at the moment so we are looking for any ideas!

What we have in place
  • We currently have former clients available to interview, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have staff members to speak on their work and experience, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to focus on putting money towards paid advertisements so that we can sponsor our free events and have higher attendance rates.

We are working on improving our social media outreach in order to broaden the scope of clients we are reaching. Right now many of our clients are from African countries but we are hoping to help more immigrants who may be in need of our services. We think that trying to incorporate this digital storytelling monthly may be a nice way to show how we can help others and to create some variety to the content that we are posting.
