Project details

What we need
  • Up to 3 short (3-5 second) animations to be used in further marketing content
  • Note: This project should NOT be used for a fully animated video, or animations longer than 5 seconds
Additional details

We need an animator to help us raise $24 million to buy up hotspots and give them to children-in-need. We need a graphics expert to craft some moving statistics for Twitter. We also need some 3-4 screen stories for Instagram to encourage donations. Check out @DigitalWish on Twitter to see the types of GIFs and animated content we post.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a corporate look and feel guide, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have specific guidance, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,454 , allowing us to put more hotspots in schools, and get kids back in school with distance learning.

We are in the midst of a massive twitter and social media campaign. The animator will be instrumental in our launching critical information to encourage donors to give and join our campaign.

Our mission

Bring technology to classrooms in order to prepare students to thrive in the global economy.

What we do

Digital Wish is a 501c-3 nonprofit on a mission to solve technology shortfalls in education. Every child deserves a technology-rich education to provide them with the skills necessary to thrive in the global economy. Digital Wish partners with technology providers to distribute free or reduced-cost educational technology such as refurbished laptops, tablets and internet "hotspots" to schools and teachers. Digital Wish manages a community of 64k educators in the US, assisting them with their technology needs through lesson plans, fundraiser campaigns for their "technology wishes" and access to affordable educational technology used in the classroom. Since its inception in 2006, Digital Wish has granted over 31,000 technology wishes to educators worth over $17 Million, and administered grants together with Verizon, Dell, Motorola, Henderson Foundation, and Microsoft.

Testimonials

There are not enough positive adjectives to describe how I feel about working with Sterling. He's got impressive 3D animation skills. He operates with integrity and always comes through on deadlines exactly as promised. We gave Sterling a series of animation projects to produce for our Twitter feeds and he developed them with impressive creativity. Our donations have started flowing. When corporations hunt for a nonprofit who is solving the digital divide, they will come upon Digital Wish. When they see our feeds, we have instant credibility with a very high production value. I blame our art team for generating this latest spate of donors. Sterling is a pillar of that effort. Thank you Sterling for bringing Digital Wish's brand profile up in the market. I will work with Sterling as many times as he allows. If Sterling applies for your project, you should accept him immediately. He's a gem. Call me anytime for a reference.
