We are looking to overhaul the current website and would love to get feedback/suggestions on how to improve usability and layout, and which visuals we should use in conjunction with content to convey a clear message.
What we have in place
- We currently have a website, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a clear mission and "story" we want to share, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,752 , allowing us to continue funding the apartment homes we operate for families of pediatric patients undergoing cancer and transplant treatment at UVA Children's hospital.
By providing a user friendly website that clearly communicates our mission, our goals and the population we serve will allow Yellow Door to reach a greater population of potential donors and supporters.

Our mission
The Yellow Door mission is to assist families in need by providing them FREE lodging while their child is undergoing cancer treatment or organ transplant at UVA Children's hospital.
What we do
The Yellow Door Foundation serves the University of Virginia Children's hospital's pediatric patients and their families by relieving them of the added burden of securing lodging for the family during the days weeks and months that the child requires the care of the hospital. Since February 2018, YDF has done so by providing over 6,100 days of lodging in 7 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments, specially equipped for the immunocompromised, at Stone Creek Village Apartments.
