At music crossroads Malawi we have graduated a number of students and some are running their enterprises successfully. But we have noticed that we lack the skill of compiling all these stories and share them with potential donors and stakeholders. We have beautiful stories that need to be shared with the rest of the world. Having joined Catchafire this is the second time we are posting aproject im posting, I'm looking for someone who can help us tell these wonderful stories and how to use them
What we have in place
- We currently have All the necessary information forvthe volunter to start on, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have We also have dedicated members willing to learn, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to save money that could have been used to pay a consultancy,and will learn alot from the volunteer who is to take is through the process.
We would like to share our stories and see if w are making an impact, ans also to share oiur success stories to the world. we ahave so many stories byt we need to get organised and see which obes are worthy sharing,willing to learn how we can tell our stories and how to compile them and attarct donors for investiments and possible collaborations.Will aslo help us to identify some gaps in the organisation andlearn how to fix them.

Empowering young people through music and creative arts
What we do
Music Crossroads is a non-profit organisation which uses the power of music education, professional training, live performances, vocational training and promotion of young talents to provide opportunities and empower youths. We work to develop the music education sector and non-formal education, music industry in the culturally rich Malawi . The organisation was initiated in 1995 by Jeunesses Musicales International as a project organising annual festivals, international band tours, and training for young talents in Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
With this vision we created an academy established in Malawi, Zimbabwe and Mozambique, Music Crossroads aims to empower young musicians by providing them with an accessible,affordable and innovative music education program as well as the necessary tools for a career within the music industry and vocational skills. We are proud to announce that we are now one of the biggest and most exciting cultural development initiatives in Africa, involving more than 200,000 young musicians and reaching more than a million listeners in southern African region. Music crossroads Malawi is situated in densely populated Area 23.
