What we need

- Strategic consultation surrounding the existing functions and the core needs the Organization seeks to address

What we have in place
- We currently have Have an old Mission statement, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have many new board members that have indea to add, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,028 , allowing us to focus our grant funds on the new entrepreneurship program that we are running this year.
We have a project in progress to enhance minority entrepreneurship and a new Strategic Plan will help us to focus on new projects for the future. Our newly revitalize EDA board is eager to take on a new direction for Economic Development in our county. A new Mission, Vision, and Values will allow us to create the strategic plan.

Our mission
The Economic Development Authority of Fluvanna County (EDA) seeks to foster commerce, employment and affordable housing, in furtherance of sustainable safety, health, welfare, convenience and prosperity of the community and its residents. In cooperation with other organizations we strive to encourage appropriate manufacturing, professional, governmental, commercial and non-profit enterprises and educational institutions to locate, remain and prosper in Fluvanna County. The mission of the EDA may be accomplished through the financing, development, sponsorship, acquisition, construction and equipping of economic development projects, and through participation by the Authority in the Fluvanna County planning process.
