What we need
  • Up to 3 short animations to be used in further marketing content (short videos, gifs, website content, etc)
  • Guidelines on how to use the animations in accordance with other content
Additional details

United Way of Greater Waterbury has a youth volunteer engagement strategy called UPSTARTERS for students ages 10-17. We encourage youth to lead projects based on toolkits provided on our website. We're hoping to reach students with this idea and would like different animations to accompany promotional materials.

What we have in place
  • We currently have various concept ideas, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have pictures/videos to reference, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to invest back into our partner agencies within the Greater Waterbury area

It's important because we're really hoping to connect youth to the work of United Way of Greater Waterbury so they're aware of the impact the organization has. Animations will help attract youth to the idea!

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager shares with Professional the intended platform(s) where animations will be posted, ideas for content, and images to include in the animation (if any)
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the animation, key audiences, and visual branding guidelines
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of animations they like with the Professional

Milestone 1: Preliminary Design
  • Professional drafts animations using different themes to share with the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary theme and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Animation Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of animation
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to two rounds of feedback

Milestone 3: Final Animation Delivered
  • Professional delivers final version of the animations and explains how to include the animations on the organization’s chosen platform(s)
