Operating Budget
Project details
What we need
- A detailed Operating Budget covering at least one full fiscal year
- Expert advice on how to reconcile actual expenses with budgeted expenses
Additional details
We're looking forward to working with someone excited to use their financial skills to help a plucky arts nonprofit better understand and communicate their budget.
What we have in place
- We currently have A motivated board treasurer and executive director, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have financial reports, fundraising strategies,, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $9,114 , allowing us to focus on developing programming and put additional resources toward our other restoration and arts education efforts
The Friends of the Historic Masonic Temple brought me on as Executive Director earlier this year. We've reached a point in our restoration project implementation plan and our programmatic development where we need to take a more in-depth look at our budget to formalize our plan to move from putting on a series of profitable events to fostering additional fundraising avenues AND putting on a series of profitable events

Our mission
The Friends of the Historic Masonic Temple seek to restore Bay City's Historic Masonic Temple for use as a Community Center for the Arts, performance and education.
What we do
We are building a community center for the arts that focuses on education, performance, and incubation. Housed in a 130 year old former masonic temple.
Much of our programming is developed by the community around us. Individuals who visit and find a welcoming environment to share their wants and needs. Many of these then volunteer with us to develop the programming that meets those needs.
HMTBC has an in-house theater company, developing arts education, artist incubation opportunities, and so much more. We invite you to create with us.
