What we need
  • Creation or update of a slideshow no longer than 3 minutes including photos, title and end pages, and music accompaniment
  • Curated collection of photos for press and media coverage
Additional details

We would like someone to put together a video and/or slideshow for our Annual Celebration, which will be online. We have photos of our students, families, staff, and office that we would like included.

What we have in place
  • We currently have photos, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have video clips, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,129 , allowing us to enhance our program budget

We want to have a short slideshow that conveys the warm and enthusiastic connection of the students we serve through our program.

Our mission

The Metropolitan Council for Educational Opportunity, Inc. (METCO) provides students with a strong academic foundation rich in cultural, educational, ethnic, socioeconomic, and racial diversity, fostering the opportunity for children from Boston and from neighboring suburbs to develop a deeper understanding of each other in an integrated public school setting.

Since its founding, the METCO program has enrolled tens of thousands of Boston students of color in participating school districts and has provided the opportunity for students in those districts to experience the advantages of learning and working in a racially and ethnically diverse setting.

What we do

More than just an enrollment or "busing" program, METCO offers direct service and program support to our 3,200 students annually. We also offer professional development to support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives by the district staff members who work in 190 participating schools.
