Project details

What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details

I would like help writing a compelling annual appeal letter showcasing our accomplishments during covid.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a rough cut video and ad showcasing our accomplishments, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a website, FB page, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to serve additional older adults and people with disabilities in Marin. We have witnessed a huge increase in need since the onset of covid.

We have had to cancel three major fundraising events this year due to covid resulting in a loss of revenue of approximately $500,000. Generally our annual appeal is a soft approach with a holiday card with a handwritten note. This year I need something more compelling showcasing our covid work and the need for our benefactors loyalty and support. Last year, our annual appeal brought in about $56,000
