Project details
What we need
- Well-written and compelling copy for marketing or communication materials; examples include a brochure, blog post, one-pager/fact sheet, fundraising/promotional materials
- Messaging that is consistent with brand identity, public relations strategy and communications objectives
Additional details
We need help in refining our messaging in promotional material for our Family Court Crisis campaign, including narratives for explainer videos, campaign fact sheets, etc. We need to simplify our messaging for this very complex issue, and focus our material in order to make it more compelling and impactful. We have a lot of text, stories, statistics, references to studies, etc, but we need help to edit it down so that it is concise, memorable, and motivates people to get involved.
What we have in place
- We currently have plenty of content, with some initial drafts written., which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have experts in the field who can provide additional facts,, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to get our message out to a wider audience. This is a nationwide campaign aimed at passing legislation that could save the lives of vulnerable children. It's a big undertaking on limited resources!
We have a lot of strong text to get out our message, and a team of people working on this campaign, but we are currently stalled in editing down the final content. The issues are complex, and current drafts tend to be a little too long winded.

Our mission
We prevent childhood trauma and heal those affected by it.
What we do
The Stop Abuse Campaign prevents Adverse Childhood Experiences (Childhood trauma) through public policy and public education.
We choose specific, actionable campaigns that resonate with the public and help protect children from trauma like abuse and neglect. Our well-read blog educates about child abuse, domestic violence, trauma prevention, and recovery. We work with over 300,000 supporters engaging them in our campaigns to prevent abuse.
Fortunately, a lot is known about protecting children from trauma. And preventing trauma is what we do at the Stop Abuse Campaign.
