Additional details
We are on a mission to connect with Georgia educators and community hubs (think libraries, community, cultural and arts centers), to let them know about the programming we offer, which includes development workshops and other opportunities for educators as well as playwriting courses for communities and classrooms. A specific goal we have while all of these programs are free and online, is to increase our impact throughout state, including under-resourced and geographically distant communities.
What we have in place
- We currently have a list of people who have attended our past education events, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an idea of the kind of person we're looking to connect with, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $13,474 , allowing us to reach more of Georgia's educators and community leaders and offer the programmatic support they need, to do the work that they do to serve communities and individuals across the state.
Our educational programming is unique in its focus on supporting Georgia's educators - and they need our support now more than ever! As we're gearing up for our first educator mini-retreat in November, we want to make sure as many people as possible are aware of it! We're fortunate to be able to offer our programming for free at this time, so the only barrier to entry for educators is awareness that these programs exist.
