What we need
- Setup and implementation of Google Workspace account and specific apps
- Training for up to 5 staff on how to configure and use Google's apps
- Note: Google Apps for Nonprofits (Google Workspace) is free for qualifying 501(c)(3) nonprofits, and includes 30GB of storage across Gmail and Google Drive
Additional details
We have 2 staff (one in the Bay Area in California, the other in Amsterdam) and recently got G Suite for nonprofits. Volunteer will working primarily with the Amsterdam-based team member so being in EST/European time zones a priority. We want to learn how to make the most use of shared drives and G Suite apps, advanced mobile management, and what the new changes to Google Groups and GDPR compliance mean for our small nonprofit.
What we have in place
- We set up G Suite for nonprofits a few months ago. We use Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, and have one Google Group. We don't use Meet or Hangouts. I especially want to know how to use apps that support virtual meetings/webinars and that can easily work with Zoom, Slack.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,111 , allowing us to upgrade our communications platform licenses so we can improve participant experiences in meetings and webinars.
We need to conduct all our staff, board, and member meetings online for the foreseeable future and want to make the most of what G Suite offers nonprofits to curate meaningful experiences for folks, and to manage our data and make sure it is secure.
