Flexible Marketing Strategy Support
Flexible Marketing Strategy Support
Project details
What we need
- Ongoing marketing strategy support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
- Support may include: defining your marketing goals, determining the right marketing channels, messaging your program, branding, or defining your target audience
- Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details
NetworkPeninsula is working with other capacity building organizations across the State of Virginia to create a campaign around the importance of the nonprofit sector and the need to make COVID funding opportunities from localities and EDAs available to nonprofit businesses, as they have for for-profit businesses. Current opportunities exist to help for profit businesses simply keep their doors open; while nonprofits have to demonstrate how they are helping their clients impacted by COVID.
What we have in place
- We are currently preparing a letter addressing this issue that will be sent to Governor Northam, as well as State Senators/Representatives. Each regional group will share this with their localities as well. We would like to also raise attention to this issue via a social media campaign that shines a light on the value of the nonprofit sector by sharing stories as to how they have pivoted during this time & how different groups within our sector (i.e. arts, youth, etc) have been impacted by COVID
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to continue to focus on providing continuing education, board training, information sharing, and expanded outreach to more than 300 nonprofits on the Virginia Peninsula.
NetworkPeninsula exists to support & advocate for nonprofits providing valuable services to ensure the health & well being of our communities; and also serving as a major contributor to our economy. Currently, the many funding opportunities that have been made available have either been limited to for profit businesses or to frontline nonprofits providing food, emerg assistance, etc. There is an urgent need to help nonprofits keep their doors open so when all is open again, they are still here.
