What we have in place
- We currently have a vision, mission, and values document, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have 2020 and soon a 2025 vision document from our parent org., and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $12,550 , allowing us to provide minor home repair services to 15-20 elderly or disabled residents in our community.
Having a well developed 5-year strategic plan is key to both organization decision making and fund raising.

Our mission
Serve the City directly benefits the Virginia Peninsula by mobilizing volunteers to serve those in need in simple and personal ways. We are the connection between the good intentions of people who could serve and meaningful opportunities to get involved. Our mission is to be the catalysts in the transformation of neighborhoods, cities and lives as people volunteer to serve others.
We want to see redeveloping communities transformed through partnerships between the police department, faith-based organizations, civic leagues and schools, by building trusting relationships that bring hope and healing.

Tom was excellent in taking us through the strategic planning process. He not only facilitated our discussions but he helped educate our team on the value and purpose of as strategic plan. We initially worked with him on our Vision/Mission statements and that led organically into the strategic planning process. We definitely received more value out of this project than Catchafire estimates and we would work with Tom again if the opportunity arises.
These folks are terrific. I did two projects with them and both were among my best Catch experiences. They have an energetic leadership and very "engageable" board, and think the approach we took to the strategy session ended up further engaging them. Would gladly work with them again.
