Project details

What we need
  • Overhaul of the organization and structure of the Organization's existing website, or UX design for a new website
  • Clear map of website’s structure (sitemap) with wireframes to accompany the layout; wireframes may include homepage, section pages, content detail pages, and form pages
  • Flowcharts or specifications for the interactive features of the website
  • A summary of the system components that will need to be styled for the site
  • Note: We recommend this project for custom websites. If your site is built on a CMS platform like Wordpress or Squarespace that offers design templates, you may not need a UX design. Check out our Website Content Plan project for help designing a CMS-based website
Additional details

It has been 5 years since we last updated our website and we are in need of a major overhaul for both a UX/UI design and a website design for https://www.thearcticinstitute.org that works better for our audience. Please help up redesign and reimagine what is possible for our content!

What we have in place
  • We currently have feedback from our audience and team, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a dedicated staff person to help you in every step, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $11,946 , allowing us to run a free early career Arctic winter college.

Knowledge is only impactful if made easily accessible and we need your help in making our articles, infographics, commentaries, events, and more accessible to a wide variety of audiences better inform Arctic research, writing, and decision making.

TAI envisions a world in which the Arctic’s diverse and complex sources of insecurity are identified, understood, and innovatively resolved. We hope to achieve this by informing Arctic policy across the circumpolar region through objective, multidisciplinary, and innovative social science research. We do this through publishing high-quality, open access research on a range of issues relating to security in the High North; providing innovative policy analysis and recommendations to policymakers a
