Project details

What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details

Pacific Lifeline is beginning a new project to establish a Facebook Fundraiser. This is our first venture into the world of digital fundraising. Having the assistance of someone who is able to help us strategize and write the appropriate copy which tell our story and asks for donations will give us a good foundation for this project as well as other future projects.

What we have in place
  • We currently have 1 board member who has social media experience, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a clear understanding of FB fundraising, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to further our footprint in the digital world by using paid-for applications. Additionally we will use the saved money for development and printing of collateral materials which need to be updated.

We would like to reach new FB members as we put our foot in the water and learn about digital fundraising. Our expectations for donated funds is small since it is our first experience. However it will get us started so we have a baseline for future events.

Testimonials

It has been many years since I have worked with someone of the caliber of professionalism and knowledge Briana brings to the table. The experience was memorable. We worked together to establish and promote a 25 day Facebook fundraiser. Collaborating with Briana was fun and educational. She talked through ideas, concepts and strategies as we worked to build the project plan. Briana has an incredible talent with words and ability to write. She kindly wrote all our content for daily FB posts, teaser posts and announcement emails. She was willing to hold Zoom meetings weekly and sometimes more, in the evenings with a 3 hours time difference, to analyze our success, tweak our plans and determine where we needed to strengthen our approach. There is no way we could have held the fundraiser and been as successful as we were without her guidance and talent. This was the second project Briana helped us with; hopefully it will not be the last! I highly recommend Briana to any non-profit who is looking to raise the bar in the area of Public Relations and Development; she is the best! Because of Briana, we raised over $15,000 on our first every social virtual fundraiser!

Storytelling Project

Karen and the whole team at Pacific Lifeline are so wonderful to work with and collaborate alongside. They are smart, savvy and resourceful for a small but mighty nonprofit. The whole experience was wonderful, meaningful and allowed me to use my creativity in a different way to make a difference for a great organization. The team was clear in their direction, made all materials easily available and were a joy to get to know personally. A rewarding and unforgettable time!
