(Short) Animation Creation

What we need
  • Up to 3 short animations to be used in further marketing content (short videos, gifs, website content, etc)
  • Guidelines on how to use the animations in accordance with other content
Additional details

We would like a short animation intro to put at the beginning of new educational videos that will help people understand our mission to harness the universal appeal of dinosaurs to help inspire a love of science and the world around us. Not only will this help people understand why we do what we do, but it will also create a cohesive, branded feeling to our videos.

What we have in place
  • We currently have an awesome mission, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an awesome (but small) team, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to create more educational videos and digital experiences to engage young people and adults with dinosaurs and science from home.

Having a quick and concise way to visually express the importance of our work will help us gain new donors and strategic partners who can help us fund and accomplish all the projects that we want to do to help underserved populations have amazing scientific experiences that change lives.

  • Volunteer Manager shares with Professional the intended platform(s) where animations will be posted, ideas for content, and images to include in the animation (if any)
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the animation, key audiences, and visual branding guidelines
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of animations they like with the Professional

Milestone 1: Preliminary Design
  • Professional drafts animations using different themes to share with the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary theme and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Animation Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of animation
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to two rounds of feedback

Milestone 3: Final Animation Delivered
  • Professional delivers final version of the animations and explains how to include the animations on the organization’s chosen platform(s)
