What we need
  • Setup of professional social media profile(s) consistent with the Organization’s brand messaging in platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, etc.
  • Training for the Organization’s staff on how to manage social media account(s)
Additional details

I would like to learn more about posting to Instagram as part of a nonprofit. I am new to the organization and would like someone to teach me the ropes on the do's and don'ts.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a ready made social media account, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a website, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to increase the funds we have to buy supplies, books, etc. We will be able to show donors a more professional social media presence, while promoting literacy.

This project will allow me to help R.O.O.T.S, Inc. achieve its goals, by allowing me to learn from an expert on how to develop a professional social media presence for the organization. This project will also help promote their most recent project READ TO ME: bringing seniors, grandchildren and others together during this pandemic.

We believe in reaching one youth at a time. For Real!

What we do

ROOTS, Inc. programs and activities draw on the belief that 1) stories are powerful, 2) stories have the potential to spark creativity and imagination 3) it is important to teach children to be storytellers and readers so that they can appreciate and grow in their culture. We use the art of storytelling in the classroom, theatre and to help our seniors with their precious memories.
