What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

Partner with us to create a series of four short cooking lessons featuring immigrant chefs as a fundraiser for our food access program. Work with us to edit 20-25 minute videos delivered in electronic format to be broadcast over Facebook Live as remote cooking classes.

What we have in place
  • We currently have talented immigrant chefs and Project Coordinator, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have lots of background support for the project, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to invest all of the proceeds from the pay-what-you-wish classes in our Food Access program.

This project will engage both newcomers and native Philadelphians in fun, engaging multi-cultural cooking to increase the spirit of welcome in our region.

Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product

Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback

Milestone 2: Video Creation & Feedback
  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)

Milestone 3: Final Video Delivery
  • Professional delivers final video in agreed upon format
