Project details

What we need
  • High-resolution logo delivered in vector (.ai, .svg, .eps) and raster (.png, .jpg, .tiff) file formats for digital and print use.
Additional details

We are a 6-yr old non-profit that has experienced much growth and is getting ready to launch a new initiative that we feel will take us to the next level: "Beyond Us and Them." We have a rough-draft new website drafted to promote this initiative but need a powerful and compelling way to communicate the idea, its relevance and timeliness... the rough-draft site is here: https://beyondusandthem.weebly.com/

What we have in place
  • We currently have a clear vision and a webpage for this initiative, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have time, energy and ideas, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to provide critical services for incarcerated and under-resourced clients who are eager to participate in our programming

We are challenged with engaging audiences to learn about and support our critical community building work. We live in a time of overwhelming challenges. In this moment of social isolation, racial upheaval and rampant "othering," our communities are painfully divided, and the social fabric is frayed. Rather than embracing our rich diversity, we are becoming more adversarial, particularly in the realm of police-community relations. It's time to move BEYOND US AND THEM.

Our mission

Center for Council delivers programs and trainings that promote communication, enhance well-being, build community, and foster compassion.

What we do

Our work enables individuals to cultivate tools for improved communication, find common ground with others and create healthy, compassionate and thriving communities. Council fosters recognition of our shared humanity and interconnectedness and enables individuals to give voice to their stories, to develop mutual respect and compassion for others, to cultivate a wholesome response to challenges and stress and to strengthen wellbeing and resilience in themselves and beyond. We like to call it the "ripple effect."

Council practice is at the core of all of our programs. It represents an amalgam of teachings, wisdom traditions and schools of thought from around the globe, blended with science-based mindfulness practices and modern communication techniques developed over several decades. Council offers skillful means for building bridges and developing connection in an increasingly divided world, a tool that can and should be available to all people of all walks of life.
