What we'd like to talk about

Our environmental education network needs a backbone org/foundation to serve as fiduciary fund partner. What are successful models of fiscal sponsorship, and how do we link with a suitable foundation?

Additional context

ELLMS (Environmental Living and Learning for Maine Students) is a collaborative network of 4 distinct nonprofits, of which we are one. To reach our collective goal of bringing experiential learning to all Maine students, we must engage an organization to be our fiduciary partner, to help us increase network funding, and ultimately to create an endowment to support residential environmental education in Maine.

"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.

Testimonials

Larry was a resourceful sounding board for our environmental education collaborative when we had a question about a potential change which is beyond our collective experience. He was also patient and incredibly flexible when our meeting times changed due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts. We are grateful for his objective perspective and clarity which helped reframe our challenge and adjust our expectations, all accomplished in less than a one hour Zoom call!
