What we need
  • 1-2 page press release that can be distributed to news outlets
What we have in place
  • We currently have contest rules and information for press announcement, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have quotes from organizers, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,600 , allowing us to allocate more resources to our playwright development and other programming.

This project will help us meet our goals of providing support and resources to independent artists of diverse backgrounds from underserved communities by helping us promote a playwriting competition that will help nurture new talent.

Our mission

Paterson Performing Arts Development Council is a 501C3 nonprofit. Our mission is to bring together diverse communities via performing arts and cultural events, to establish pathways for new and established artists, and to promote Paterson, NJ as a regional hub for the creative arts. Our vision is to draw on the arts as a driver of economic growth. PPADC is committed to the development of a Paterson Performance Arts Center serving as an all-inclusive permanent physical space for groups and independent artists (playwrights, musicians, dancers, poets, etc.) regardless of race, nationality, sexual orientation, identity, gender, age, religion, and physical disabilities.
