Project details

What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

Columbia Riverkeeper seeks video editor to piece together 4 short video segments promoting the work we are doing to protect and restore clean water and the environment at Hanford, the Western Hemisphere's most contaminated nuclear site. The footage, b-roll, and images will be provided, just need some editing work to piece it all together.

What we have in place
  • We currently have video footage, images, and an outline, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a sfaff member to support and guide the edits and feedback, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to hold the U.S. Department of Energy accountable for a full and thorough clean up of the most contaminated and toxic site in the western hemisphere.

Columbia Riverkeeper is dedicated to the long-term and thorough cleanup of Hanford to protect clean water, restore healthy salmon runs, and heal the land for indigenous communities who rely on it for cultural and subsistence purposes.

Our mission

Columbia Riverkeeper's mission is to protect and restore the water quality of the Columbia River and all life connected to it, from the headwaters to the Pacific Ocean.

What we do

*Protecting Columbia River communities and habitat from new threats, such as fossil fuel export;

*Restoring our right to clean water and healthy fish by stopping illegal pollution, reducing toxic discharges, cleaning up contaminated sites, and working with environmental justice communities to reclaim river use; and

*Caring for the river by providing hands-on opportunities for people to engage with our river, including Adopt-A-River, our Safe Swim Beaches program, river cleanups, and Love Your Columbia month.

Testimonials

Chi helped us produce a series of videos about Hanford that we can use to inspire its cleanup. He was very professional and flexible working with minimal production resources.
