What we need
  • Analysis of website’s on-page content, technical structure, and presence of inbound links on other websites for search engine optimization
  • Actionable steps to improve website’s performance in search engines via organic search
What we have in place
  • We currently have some Google analytics, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have paid and non profit search accounts, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,767 , allowing us to serve 10 more girls from low-income households in our year-round STEM Club.

We have never had the expertise to have someone look at our SEO and give us feedback. We have gone completely digital with our program offerings due to Covid19 which allows us to serve girls all over the country and makes SEO even more important.

  • Volunteer Manager shares admin credentials with Professional necessary to complete audit

Milestone 1: Site Content Audit
  • Professional assesses on-site elements including URL structures, navigation, internal links, use of keywords and general copy
  • Professional creates list of every page in a spreadsheet with notes and recommendations for improvement

Milestone 2: Technical Audit
  • Professional assesses technical site elements that affect crawlability like sitemap, use of HTTPS, HTML structure, site speed, and presence of 404 or server errors
  • Professional provides recommendations to improve search engine indexing

Milestone 3: Off-Site Link Audit
  • Professional uses a free tool (like Moz ) to assess presence and state of backlinks and anchor text
  • Professional provides recommendations to improve domain and page authority

Our mission is to expose a diverse population of young girls to a high-quality STEM academy that inspires confidence in their pursuit of learning throughout the year.

Our vision is to originate a diverse STEM talent pool by building confidence for over 20,000 girls by 2022.

What we do

Through engagement of top STEM companies, universities, teachers and hands on curriculum our girls discover the endless opportunities available to them in STEM. At Project Scientist, we currently hold virtual lab sessions in which girls can build relationships with women in STEM fields, experienced teachers, and each other. In each session, girls are introduced to various STEM topics and participate in hands-on experiments led by their teachers.
