Logo Design & Visual Brand Identity
Logo Design & Visual Brand Identity
Project details
What we need
- Consultation regarding the Organization's current branding and desired branding objectives
- Visual branding guidelines / style guide that include specific colors, fonts, and other graphic design elements to use in print and digital communications materials
- High-resolution logo delivered electronically (in formats for digital and print use)
Additional details
Vote Solar is working with a number of equity partners including NAACP to create a brand identity and logo for our collaboration, the Solar Equity Initiative. SEI supports equitable solar policies across the country and implements its own solar projects with funding from partner groups. The logo and branding would primarily be used in promotional and press materials for the solar installation projects.
What we have in place
- We currently have a press release describing SEI, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a staff lead prioritizing this project, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,817 , allowing us to put our organizational resources toward providing cost-free solar to families and communities in need.
NAACP's Solar Equity Initiative is a collaborative effort, but as such is not the #1 priority for any group. As a result we have struggled to form our identity. Having a brand and logo will help solidify the commitment of groups and create external awareness about our efforts. At the end of the day, it will help more low income families benefit from solar savings!
Project plan
Our mission
Vote Solar is a nonprofit grassroots organization working to foster economic opportunity, promote energy security and fight climate change by making solar a mainstream energy resource. We work at the state level all across the country to support the programs necessary to repower our grid with sunshine.
What we do
In order to bring solar energy to a scale large enough to displace fossil fuel use, we need to lower solar’s costs and remove barriers to market participation. Vote Solar’s tool-chest of projects, programs and grassroots campaigns are all designed to address this equation: cost + access = scale.
We advance our programs by bringing six core campaign strategies to bear in a coordinated manner:
-Regulatory Participation
-Direct Policymaker Education
-Local & Diverse Advocacy Partnership
-Technical Analysis, Tools & Resources
-Direct Customer Education & Acquisition
-Public Communications & Grassroots Engagement
We target state and local opportunities for change. The states we cover are diverse in their policies and their politics. The unifying characteristic is that their citizens overwhelmingly want more solar powering their homes, businesses and communities. We are committed to give those solar supporters a voice in energy decision making - a vote for solar.
