Project details

What we need
  • Review of job descriptions, pay structure, internal value, competitive market data, non-monetary rewards and benefits
  • Recommendations for updating staff compensation and incentive plans
Additional details

As a growing nonprofit, we've never had time to complete a compensation plan, but we desperately need one. In addition, I've been recently assigned to HR for the first time in my career, so I'd love to gain some professional development for myself in this process to help our whole company move forward. This is not something we can afford to purchase for ourselves right now, but we have doubled our staff over the past two years, so it's very necessary!

What we have in place
  • We currently have written job descriptions, some with salary data, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have salary data for all employees, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,746 , allowing us to get the project done. There is no budget available for this project right now, so your volunteer work is crucial!

United Way of Southwest Virginia wants to remain the "employer of choice" in our region, and growing our HR practices/policies/procedures is crucial to meeting our goal.
