Our mission

Our mission is to help low income families in northeastern Massachusetts raise healthy children by providing recycled clothing, baby equipment, and other basic necessities.

What we do

Every year, thousands of children living in conditions of poverty receive basic essentials from Community Giving Tree. We provide safe sleeping spaces, much-needed diapers, and gently-used clothing. All of these items are distributed through our network of social service agency partners to those most in need in our community. We are grateful to hundreds of volunteers each year that help support our mission to collect gently used items and make them available for local families and children. Our goal is to provide no-cost essentials for families to help their children grow and thrive.

Testimonials

Kathryn was able to help relieve my stress over not being HR complaint in Massachusetts. As a small nonprofit, we did not have the capacity to research the laws ourselves nor the financial ability to hire someone to assist us, so when Kathryn came along, I said a prayer and couldn't thank her enough. With Kathryn's experience, Community Giving Tree will be able to provide a compliant and healthy work experience.
