Logo Design & Visual Brand Identity
Logo Design & Visual Brand Identity
Project details
What we need
- Consultation regarding the Organization's current branding and desired branding objectives
- Visual branding guidelines / style guide that include specific colors, fonts, and other graphic design elements to use in print and digital communications materials
- High-resolution logo delivered electronically (in formats for digital and print use)
Additional details
We are creating a new initiative (named Breaking the Ice Ceiling) and a magazine (named Polynya) about women in polar sciences. Published four times a year, the magazine will illuminate polar research and achievements by those who identify as women in order to activate a culture shift among middle school students to open their eyes to seeing women, themselves, and their peers - especially girls living in the Arctic - as science leaders. We need your help to create a logo and brand guide!
What we have in place
- We currently have background info on our magazine & inspiration examples, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a dedicated staff person to work with you at every step, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,817 , allowing us to send print magazines to students in remote and rural areas without stable internet connections.
Articles in our magazine will showcase lesser-known stories of women in polar science, historical and contemporary. The magazine, published both in print and digital versions, will have an accompanying resources page for girls in STEAM. Importantly, the suite of Breaking the Ice Ceiling products will function as a multimedia space that values and incorporates Indigenous women's oral histories and traditional knowledge as a fundamental component of scientific research.
Project plan
Our mission
TAI envisions a world in which the Arctic’s diverse and complex sources of insecurity are identified, understood, and innovatively resolved. We hope to achieve this by informing Arctic policy across the circumpolar region through objective, multidisciplinary, and innovative social science research. We do this through publishing high-quality, open access research on a range of issues relating to security in the High North; providing innovative policy analysis and recommendations to policymakers a
What we do
The Arctic Institute is an independent international institute dedicated to research of and engagement in the many dimensions of Arctic insecurity. Established in 2011, TAI provides data, analysis, and recommendations to policymakers, researchers, media, and the interested public. Based in Washington, DC, TAI’s network of research associates extends across North America, Scandinavia, and the European Union.
