What we need
- A written document that identifies the Organization's timeline, onboarding goals, recommended responsibilities and support for new hire success:
- An onboarding checklist and timeline template that can be completed by the Organization for each new hire
- A suggested checklist and template outlining onboarding methods the Organization should pursue to meet its goals (human resources and information technology materials, department presentations, mentor assignment, skill sharing, etc.)
- Recommendations on how to delegate onboarding responsibilities within the Organization or department, if applicable
- A short plan for communicating with the new hire prior to their first day of work
Additional details
In theory looking to create a "manual" of sorts for new staff in order to streamline the process for learning the various aspects to the job, areas to find resources/materials, and documents needed to run our programs.
What we have in place
- We currently have a relatively comprehensive list of what we want included, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have flexibility with the plan, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $8,686 , allowing us to continue to devote our time and resources to our youth. Additionally prepare staff to succeed as efficiently as possible in their roles.
As we are looking to grow our organization we want a way to keep all staff both current and new up to date on information about the organization, materials needed to run programs, and a where to/how to find things on various databases that we have. We also would like a more streamlined way to get new staff up to date and ready to perform their duties to the best of their ability, particularly as an organization that spans across several states/jurisdictions.

Our mission
Liberty's Promise supports young immigrants in need while encouraging them to be active and conscientious American citizens. Our programs aim to make the immigrant experience an affirmative one for young newcomers while instilling in them a sense of pride and support for American ideals of democracy and freedom. By doing so, Liberty's Promise seeks to reaffirm our fundamental egalitarian and democratic traditions for future generations.
