  • A high-resolution version of the Infographic in the Organization’s preferred format

A visual that easily communicates both what the Local Foods Local Places Action Plan is, how to get involved, and also serves is a quarterly update to the community on progress that has been made (successes) toward achieving the plan's 4 goals and 16 actions. What we have in place
  • We currently have completed plan, talking points,, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a mtg on 7/27 to gather updates (qualitative+quantitative), and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to do more deep and broad public engagement while also supporting local food businesses with these funds.

The Local Foods, Local Places Action Plan for Lewiston-Auburn aims to strengthen access to local food, expand market opportunities and infrastructure for farm and food businesses, and integrate local food and agriculture into city planning and economic development strategies, among other goals. This visual tool will help us continue to build public support and raise funds for its many actions and strategies, strengthening the local food system at a critical time.

  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the infographic, key audiences, and style preferences (if any)
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of infographics they like with the Professional
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with data or other source of information to draw from

Milestone 1: Preliminary Sketching
  • Professional develops three drafted concepts to share with the Organization
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary concept and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Graphic Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of Infographic
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to two rounds feedback

Milestone 3: Presentation of Deliverables
  • Professional delivers the final version of the Infographic including specifications for usage (colors, size, etc.)
