Project details

What we need
  • Significant update to Organization’s existing CMS website, such as adding a new page, customizing a theme, adjusting layout, etc.
  • Smaller update to Organization's non-CMS website
Additional details

Currently working with a Catchafire volunteer on a new UX design for our website. Would love some help on implementing this new plan!

What we have in place
  • We currently have a prototype of the changes we'd like, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have branding guidelines, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,586 , allowing us to give more shoes to kids in need

Our website is our public "face". We feel like it needs a bit of updating to current trends. And we have been working on a new, simpler structure to better explain how people can help and how they are making an impact

Prep: Share Scope of Changes
  • Volunteer Manager shares link to existing website with Professional
  • Volunteer Manager provides list of required updates to make (including sharing content or image assets, as necessary)
  • Both parties review our pro-tips for Organizations and Volunteers to ensure the project is set up for success

Milestone 1: Kick-Off Meeting
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss requested updates, and agree on a project timeline
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with credentials to access the website admin portal

Milestone 2: Review Updates
  • Professional makes the requested updates to the website (if available, the changes should be made in a test or development environment first)
  • Volunteer Manager reviews each update, and reports any remaining issues to the Professional

Milestone 3: Implementation of Updates
  • Professional implements updates to the live website
  • Professional troubleshoots any issues that may arise immediately after implementing changes on the live site
