Project details
What we need
- Well-written and compelling copy for marketing or communication materials; examples include a brochure, blog post, one-pager/fact sheet, fundraising/promotional materials
- Messaging that is consistent with brand identity, public relations strategy and communications objectives
Additional details
The Texas Chapter of the Stop Abuse Campaign has a stale blog. We need to reinvigorate it with new content that delivers attracts readers and engaged readers who share the blog. We have content ideas and are open to new ones. The person who takes on this content will help develop a content calendar and write main blog articles.
What we have in place
- We currently have an calendar outline with some content ideas, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have domestic violence experts and advocates to interview, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to ramp up our awareness campaign in Texas. Texas leads the nation in child abuse fatalities and in 2010, was in the top 10 states in the nation with the highest rate of females murdered by males.
We need to ensure that our members are well educated. That we educate the public, legislators, the judiciary as well as community leaders on adverse childhood experiences and the impact of trauma.
Project plan
Our mission
We prevent childhood trauma and heal those affected by it.
What we do
The Stop Abuse Campaign prevents Adverse Childhood Experiences (Childhood trauma) through public policy and public education.
We choose specific, actionable campaigns that resonate with the public and help protect children from trauma like abuse and neglect. Our well-read blog educates about child abuse, domestic violence, trauma prevention, and recovery. We work with over 300,000 supporters engaging them in our campaigns to prevent abuse.
Fortunately, a lot is known about protecting children from trauma. And preventing trauma is what we do at the Stop Abuse Campaign.
