Salesforce Database Customization
Salesforce Database Customization
Project details
What we need
Currently, our approximately 1400 e-mail contacts are recorded in Excel. We use Constant Contact for our e-mails and fundraising appeal. The Benevon model is a system that supports the cultivation of multi-year donors and requires extensive communication with this expanding group of people. We already have Salesforce but have not yet migrated our contacts to this program. We need to build a Salesforce platform that allows us to collect and store the information on our US-based as well as Ugandan contacts, both individual and organizational.
We would like the following:
- A Salesforce database including: a customized set of Salesforce objects, single-record editing of data and field history tracking (up to 15 object types), a customized set of views to allow table-based editing of data (up to 15 views), a customized set of reports to pull data from multiple object types (up to 15 reports)
- Migration of our current database to Salesforce
- Training for designated staff members on new objects, reports and views
- “Hand-off” documentation on the object schemas and any custom code
What we have in place
- We currently have our approximately 1400 contacts recorded in Excel, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have purchased Salesforce and have a volunteer capable of migrating our contacts to Salesforce, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $22,852 , allowing us to increase our revenue by 3 to completely rebuild three primary schools serving 1500 students in Uganda.
The success of our organization depends on a user friendly system to follow our list of partners/donors. Without your help, we cannot develop a platform & train staff & board to use Salesforce. Your skills will empower us to create this system and use it for fundraising & marketing.
