Project details

What we need
  • An assessment of Organization's IT infrastructure including costs, speed, reliability and security
  • Advice on various IT services and the cost-benefit associated with each option
  • Potentially more efficient and secure services
  • Note: This does not include tech systems set up or implementation
Additional details

We are exploring our options for efficient remote work on a more permanent basis. Our current systems have been great to "get us through" but we need to look at suggestions and action steps for what is necessary to move us forward. We may also be looking at some laptop purchases for staff to use remotely. This is uncharted territory for us!

What we have in place
  • We currently have a physical server and use Microsoft Remote Web Access to Download and Upload files. This works alongside our Google Suite/Drive. I imagine a fully cloud based solution might be in our future. I'm also looking for ways to "foolproof" file storage for staff so that it is saved centrally, as well as make collaborative work easy.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,556 , allowing us to bring our CORE playwriting program into a classroom with no funding in the coming school year.

Philadelphia Young Playwrights has pivoted to continue to serve our constituencies remotely during the COVID-19 Crisis. As we anticipate remote work continuing for the near future we need some support to streamline our tech processes across the organization.

  • Professional provides revised list of recommendations, along with cost estimates and preferred vendors to use for implementation
