Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Project details
What we need
- Development of a new website using a Content Management System (CMS)
- Training to ensure Organization's staff members can update content and manage the site post-launch
- Note: This project is for a website built with a Content Management System (CMS), such as Wordpress, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, or Weebly . A CMS-based website can be maintained and updated easily (no coding required!)
Additional details
Our website at cclr.org is currently hosted on Drupal, and we are looking to transition to a user-friendly platform that CCLR staff will be able to easily learn and utilize. The Communications Coordinator will be the main point of contact.
What we have in place
- We currently have a domain name and a website hosted by Drupal, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a dedicated staff member for the project, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $16,822 , allowing us to spend more time on outreach events, grant review, and affecting change in the land reuse sector.
We fulfill our mission with only 5 staff members, and are in need of someone with the technical expertise to assist with transitioning our website to a new platform. This project will go a long way towards transforming our communications - which is crucial to the long-term health of the organization.

Our mission
The Center for Creative Land Recycling (CCLR) is the only nonprofit organization whose mission is to enable communities to develop sustainably and equitably by restoring underutilized properties to productive reuse. We convene, consult and collaborate with communities, government agencies, and the private sector to facilitate land redevelopment in ways that reduce inequity and increase community wellbeing. CCLR serves as a trusted advisor, facilitator, and project manager focused on the environmental components of brownfield redevelopment. Our work builds local capacity to create job-generating redevelopment, restore the environment and build more equitable, healthy and prosperous futures.
