What we'd like to talk about

I am part of a new neighborhood coalition seeking to proactively break down stereotypes that can cause racism and religious bigotry. We need to very quickly create a website and seek your advice.

"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.

Our mission

The Marion & Aaron Gural JCC is a Jewish non-profit, non-sectarian community agency that provides social, recreational, educational and arts programs across the lifespan. We offer opportunities that support and strengthen families, expand social and intellectual horizons, develop support networks, and guide those dealing with life challenges.

What we do

Programs include: infant day care, nursery school, youth and camp programs, services for individuals with special needs, studio and cultural arts, exercise programs, well older adult programs and programs for older adults who have cognitive impairments. Our experienced social workers run support groups for bereavement, Parkinson's disease, traumatic brain injury, and offer social counseling, referrals and advocacy. We have an award winning Holocaust survivor program and run the largest kosher food pantry on Long Island.

Testimonials

Ken was amazing. He really listened and understood what I needed help with. He followed up with informative links to help with my project and I would recommend him very highly. He was professional, knowledgeable and very helpful.
