Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Project details
What we need
- Development of a new website using a Content Management System (CMS)
- Training to ensure Organization's staff members can update content and manage the site post-launch
- Note: This project is for a website built with a Content Management System (CMS), such as Wordpress, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, or Weebly . A CMS-based website can be maintained and updated easily (no coding required!)
Additional details
We need a complete overhaul of our website. It contains a lot of information, but over the last decade, it has gotten extremely scattered and madly outdated. We want to split the site into two parts: the front end, which is friendly, humanizing the organization, and has basic answers. Then a "deep dive" section, where people who want to scour regulations can find more answers. I only have basic WordPress knowledge, and am out of my depth reinventing this site, but very willing to help.
What we have in place
- We currently have a website and people working on copy, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an existing site to use as reference (good or bad), and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $16,822 , allowing us to focus on marketing to expand knowledge of who we are and how we can help people in manufactured home communities.
Our current website is very outdated and impersonal. Updating this will help our overall appearance and show the 200,000 people living in manufactured housing in Minnesota that we're a member-driven organization that they would want to join to help protect their rights as homeowners.
Project plan
Our mission
All Parks Alliance for Change is the statewide organization for Minnesota's 180,000 manufactured home park residents. APAC provides a vehicle for manufactured home owners to express their needs and concerns in their parks and in the larger community.
What we do
APAC works with manufactured home park residents to improve the quality of life in park neighborhoods, protect the rights of park residents, advance public policy change that supports safe, affordable park communities, and preserve this vital source of affordable housing.

Trevor was extremely nice and very helpful. I appreciate everything that he has done for me and I hope to work with him and APAC again very soon!
