What we need
  • Analysis of website’s on-page content, technical structure, and presence of inbound links on other websites for search engine optimization
  • Actionable steps to improve website’s performance in search engines via organic search

Help! We just need help making sure our website is doing its job and we are reaching as many people as possible!

What we have in place
  • We currently have a google anyalytics account and a live website, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have staff person with admin access to website & google analytics, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,767 , allowing us to spend more of our fundraising dollars on scholarships for educators to attend our professional development field programs in the Amazon & in the development of curriculum resources

We are a small team with big ideas and need to make sure that our website is working for us as much as possible. Help with search engine optimization will help us reach more educators and potential funders !so that we can spend more time focusing on Amazon Conservation through Education!

Milestone 1: Site Content Audit
  • Professional assesses on-site elements including URL structures, navigation, internal links, use of keywords and general copy
  • Professional creates list of every page in a spreadsheet with notes and recommendations for improvement

Milestone 2: Technical Audit
  • Professional assesses technical site elements that affect crawlability like sitemap, use of HTTPS, HTML structure, site speed, and presence of 404 or server errors
  • Professional provides recommendations to improve search engine indexing

Milestone 3: Off-Site Link Audit
  • Professional uses a free tool (like Moz ) to assess presence and state of backlinks and anchor text
  • Professional provides recommendations to improve domain and page authority

Our mission

The Morpho Institute supports the key role of K-12 education in realizing the global goal of environmental conservation and sustainability. To achieve this goal, The Morpho Institute provides professional development programs and curriculum resources which support local to global environmental stewardship in K-12 instruction.

What we do

In collaboration with US and international partners, The Morpho Institute provides US educators the opportunity to experience the Amazon rainforest as a compelling context for developing a global perspective on biological and cultural resources, participating in conservation, exploring sustainability, and inspiring environmental stewardship. Our field workshops and resources apply key elements of inquiry, STEM, and placed-based learning to assist educators in making these critical local to global connections in their classrooms, instruction, and curricula.
