Project details

What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details

We are especially interested in a "success story" of a twenty-something-year-old program participant who acquired a brain injury after a car accident. Our vocational specialist has worked hard with him and he's now working. We would love to share his story, particularly in our annual report!

What we have in place
  • We currently have description of his accomplishments via vocational specialist, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have access to staff and program participant for questions/quotes, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to decrease the estimated cost of our annual report.

We struggle both with brand awareness and a lack of understanding of the prevalence of brain injury. There is a HUGE gap in the need for longterm services and the availability of programs that truly understand how to support adults with brain injury. Having a compelling success story will illustrate the challenges people with brain injuries - and their families - face. It will help potential and current donors better understand why our program is essential in metro Atlanta.
