Flexible Marketing Strategy Support
Flexible Marketing Strategy Support
Project details
What we need
- Ongoing marketing strategy support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
- Support may include: defining your marketing goals, determining the right marketing channels, messaging your program, branding, or defining your target audience
- Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details
Habitat for Humanity is the charitable partner for a popular 5K race in Virginia. This year, we need virtual runners instead of physical runners!
Help us get the word out! Beyond facebook! The actual race is on Sept. 5th but virtual runners can run anywhere, anytime.
What we have in place
- We currently have consistent donors and sponsors, facebook, e-mails, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an event footprint, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,817 , allowing us to BUILD MORE HOMES!!!
Habitat for Humanity depends upon donations and sponsorships to build homes in the community. It is through events, private donors and corporate that we are able to accomplish this mission
Project plan
Our mission
Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg partners with area families, local government, businesses, faith groups, schools, associations and individual volunteers and donors to build and renovate affordable homes for sale to qualifying families.
An ecumenical group of individuals formed this local affiliate in 1985. We started our first home in 1986 and, since then, our affiliate has constructed and renovated over 200 houses in our local community!
What we do
Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg is located in Newport News, VA. We are a non-profit home builder, building homes for families of low-income means. Our first-time home buyer program is a hand up, not a hand out. Our families go through an application and selection process. Once selected, they have to perform 200 hours of sweat equity, maintain steady employment and good credit. They also have to take our mandatory home ownership classes. Then they have to pay their monthly mortgage on time. These monthly mortgages are then recycled to build more Habitat homes.
