Project Details

What We Need
  • Ready-to-publish copy for a brochure
  • Collateral, to be used in conjunction with Brochure Graphic Design, for new marketing materials
Additional Details

We would love to do this in conjunction with Brochure Graphic Design. We are looking to update a pre-existing brochure for a home-based life skills program for adults with brain injuries.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have an existing brochure, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an executive director that is a leader in the field, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to tell our story in a more concise, clairvoyant way. It will translate into more support for people with brain injuries in metro Atlanta and a more sustainable organization.

We have brain injury specialists, but no marketing training. We know this program is meeting an unmet need for adults with brain injury. It is a chronic condition that will require support. We just need help making the case to the right people.

Project Plan

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager communicates theme, details and tone of content to be included
  • Volunteer Manager provides example(s) of existing brochure to be revamped and/or other marketing collateral to use as inspiration, if applicable
  • Volunteer Manager provides brand messaging guide and general marketing strategy, if applicable
Milestone 1: Information Gathering
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager meet to discuss goals of brochure, including target audience(s), style and tone preferences and parameters
Milestone 2: First Draft
  • Professional shares first draft of copy with Volunteer Manager for feedback, especially with respect to style, tone, and clarity
Milestone 3: Finalize Copy
  • Professional incorporates feedback and submits final copy for review

Brochure Writing Project

It was great to work with Side by Side - a non-profit filled with people who are truly passionate about their cause. Cindi, Alexis, and Judy were great in working directly with us to help craft the perfect marketing collateral for their service and were great about communicating changes or feedback in a timely fashion. True joy to help out!
