  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details

We are seeking to develop a marketing strategy to highlight the impact and outcomes of our programs that serve the needs of vulnerable residents in local communities of color. The outcomes of our services such as meals on wheels, senior transportation and Black Voices for Black Children reveal the breadth, quality, and quantity of our services benefiting the Black community.

  • We currently have detailed program descriptions, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have specific goals, outcomes, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,187 , allowing us to provide nutritious home delivered meals for seniors

This project will be essential in helping NSYSSC to distinguish our work from similar organization serving the same community. This distinction will allow Northside to increase support and visibility for our work and position ourselves as a premiere provider with our service area.

  • Volunteer Manager provides an outline of current state of marketing strategy at the organization
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of an ongoing marketing strategy need they have over the next 2-4 weeks
  • Volunteer and Volunteer Manager align on the scope of ongoing support that the Volunteer will provide to address this need

Step 1: Ongoing Support
  • Volunteer delivers ongoing support according to determined outline
  • Weekly check-ins to ensure support is being offered as agreed upon by both parties

Step 2: Training & Offboarding
  • Volunteer provides any relevant training to the Volunteer Manager to help them continue work, as necessary, after 4 weeks
