How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to to provide more resources to low income seniors particularly during this time of COVID. Some resources are mask and computers with internet so that they can stay connected.
This project is important as it aligns with our mission to support seniors aging on their own terms. This translates in many ways but for example is means providing resources to seniors as well as education to those that work with the aging population. Our LGBTQ Inter-generational symposiums with get our seniors active and connected as social isolation is a huge issue within the community. It will also be a space for organizations to be educated on the experience of the LGBTQ community.
