What we need
  • Tightly-written web copy of up to to eight pages of 200-300 words each
  • The opportunity to work closely with an experienced, SEO literate copywriter
Additional details

We want to launch a subscription-based patron page, as an additional stream of revenue to support our cause of upkeeping a 21st century kampung and nurturing an eco-conscious and caring community. Through the page, visitor can subscribe to different levels of monthly contribution in exchange for some rewards/benefits. This will be added as a new page (tab) to our existing website.

What we have in place
  • We currently have the rough wireframe with content blocks, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have reading materials about our mission/vision/goals, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,073 , allowing us to focus on crafting and experimenting different nature-inspired programmes and content to educate and engage the public about urban sustainability and place-making.

This patron page project will greatly help with revenue generation and help us sustain financially. It will also be a platform where we build a database of more committed community members where we actively engage, gain insights and adjust our approach in how to best serve the community.

To create a space to nurture creativity and risk-taking while involving people in the process.

We want to see a 5G society: Gracious, Green, Giving, Grounded and Grateful - a foundation for a 21st Century Kampung Culture that cultivates holistic solutions for a happier, liveable and sustainable future for modern society.

What we do

Ground-Up Initiative (GUI) is a non-profit organisation that runs a 2.6ha land called the Kampung Kampus in Khatib. GUI's work focuses on community-building and environmental sustainability. GUI does this by connecting people with one another, with the environment and with self. This is done through back-to-basics activities (platforms) at their nature-inspired space. The platforms include farming, craft and food. GUI hopes that through her work, society will become more Gracious, Green, Giving, Grounded & Grateful.
